The following TROMPE L’OEIL pieces are a few of my works that reflect my intention
to celebrate the three-dimensional form, textures, specific character and details of a particular time, a distinct environment, and an explicit moment in our lives. They follow the basic principles of Trompe l’oeil: one to one scale, no visible brushstrokes unless they are part of the texture being conveyed, shallow cast shadows, form lighting to accentuate the three-dimensional form of the subjects and their backgrounds/settings.
